The dev is slowly affirming themself as one of the most promising writer in the community! Unlike their previous entry, A Little Farther is not as plot focused, but manages to depict a vignette and an emotional state of mind brilliantly! And the dev manages to show improvement by complementing his excellent writing with visual and audio assets that were a bit luckluster in his previous jam entry.

The only part that leaves me a bit confused is the inclusion of the diner scene. It seems to have little to do with the story, it raises a lot of worldbuilding questions that are left unanswered and are ultimately irrelevant, and it's such a strange note to end the game on. It almost feels like it was included simply so the dev could use another one of the jam provided sprites, or maybe as an internal joke (feet!).
