You might think I wouldn't be into this clearly indulgent type of writing. The politics (and every other conflict) is taken and discarded as quickly as possible. No piece of drama is allowed to hold weight. I don't think that detracts too terribly from the novella.

Like... you go girl. You get that 'dommy mommy' dragon who caught your eyes and called you sweet things. You lead war against your transphobic parent. Your only character flaw makes you more endearing and you are so precious to everyone around you-- even the cosmos itself has to admit they've grown fond of you. And what is more beautiful than a project which understood what it wanted to be and achieved that much?
