okay okay reviewing after the second act but but but GENUINELY CANNOT COMPREHEND HOW THIS GAME IS FREE IT IS SO GOOD?? meta in the best of ways!! the themery of creation and creators, with the parallels of gods and artists is so. fun?? i think abt this shit all the time and seeing it turned into something well done and tangible is so. MWAH. and that's not even getting into the characters themselves?? every character catches my attention, not just the romanceable ones, and i think that's so. fun!! 

nulla and unum definitely have my heart tho, in spite of all the. murdery bits in some of the endings VBDHSJ unum's unhinged, discordant, and volatile nature paired with his borderline scholarly curiosity and keenness for learning is such a fun combo?? i love it when crazy emotional mfs yearn to learn ya know ya know?? and his protectiveness of his wives is. sweet ik that's the bare minimum but i've been fed scraps man

MEANWHILE nulla's concept as a whole is rlly fascinating?? i like the detail that out of all of them, he's the one with animate moments, seeing as he's more self-aware and alive? i do. feel rlly bad for him i hope there is at least one happy ending waiting for this man. all of his 4th wall moments are so well executed, in a way that doesn't break immersion but still maintains the initial shock value?? also him clocking my ass in his route when he mentioned what the game was advertised as was CRAZY

and that's. not even getting into our vessel being sentient and all that entails. i hope our vessel gets some therapy after all this shit motherfucker is a TROOPER

hell, y'all even got me empathizing with septum- which i didn't. fully expect bc i do not rock with the 'strictly polite/hierarchal, and will kill you if you don't meet their strict standards' sort. unum's chaos and nulla's charisma are a lot more my speed- but the more i played the more i understood septum and. i went from wanting to get a restraining order to wanting to get a restraining order but also lowkey hoping he goes to therapy/gets some help bc. damn. father rlly did a number on him and did it on PURPOSE too like fuck

in spite of all of them being cruel and murdery in a lot of endings, i ended up leaving empathizing with all of them which. i think is great?? genuinely one of my favorite itch.io games i've played, can't wait to see the next act >:D
