As a fan of Lore Olympus, Punderworld, and Percy Jackson, I came into this book with certain expectations. This book very much defied them in amazing ways. It absolutely holds up among those takes on the mythology. I particularly enjoyed the Hades/Zeus dynamic and how it evolves over the course of the story.
