OneKata rated Tiny Towns

A downloadable game for Windows.

Simple concept executed moderately well. I could see this being a pretty good component of a bigger game or standalone with greater scope.

Things I think could use some work and that stood out after passing the first level:

No explanation of what + - does, I kinda of only still had a vague idea towards the end.

The music gets repetitive after a while.

Some turns can take quite a while to calculate.

The luck system is a bit weird as some of the more common buildings tend to be pretty good. Being able to pull more cards at once though would be very useful.

Some buildings are 'common' but rely on adjacency modifiers. The windmill for example sets up for a nice 3*3 wheat field. This doesn't mean much if you only roll one wheat field the entire run and see 10 other windmills.

You should be able to view the ranges of other buildings while placing, however I understand that may be annoying. A monument for example is pretty clear, but others like orchards have multiple buildings to consider.

A few glitches mainly with tooltips and not being able to view them, also with wrong item displayed in tooltip and tooltips referring to a copy of the building being examined is weird.

Some buildings have a 'on place' effect and it always feels bad to place them as now you have something blocking you and providing little. May i suggest that you can choose when the effect takes place or buildings such as this could automatically become a different buildings. A pickers hut becomes a warehouse after using for example. Not sure its probably fine.

Yeah otherwise its not bad but replayabilty is not great after a while. I would refer you to using some concepts in the game "The Final Earth 2" here on itch. It is more complex then this game but I believe some depth is required to expand on games like this. Think of the type of people that like these types of games.

Anyway good work!
