This was very easily the best VN I have ever played in my life, the story was compelling, the art style was beautiful, and game was genuinely terrifying at points! Even if you aren't a fan of VNs, I cannot recommend this game enough, especially if you enjoy gothic horror! The words and tone the creator used to describe the mansion and its complexities, as well as the genuine terror Basil and Dove were experiencing were so well-picked, and it created this intense, gloomy atmosphere; perfect for a late-night play! I'm so sorry for rambling so much about this game, but it was just perfect. The play style wasn't challenging, the QTEs weren't impossible, and the story!!! The story!!! Even my friends who can't stand horror asked me to read the game aloud to them like a book so they could still participate, they were that captivated! We all wound up shedding many tears over Dove and rooting for Basil, we were on the edges of our seats the whole play through!

In short, this game was an easy 11/10 for me, and I cannot thank the developer and their team enough for making such a visually stunning and deeply compelling game! I've long since completed all of the endings, but I still intend to play it again and again! I highly recommend playing this game in the dead of night with a group of friends, so much fun! I can't wait to see what other games this team makes!
