Very cool conlang and story, but could be improved in terms of game design. The programming is the weak part of the game, there are many random bugs, mostly to do with the journal: one time a page got shown that was way too early to be shown, breaking the scrollbar UI along the way; sometimes it tries (and fails) to show a "non-existent", void page; once game crashed for no clear reason, as I was playing normally; and always the journal tries to show the very last page upon opening, "forgetting" the last page I was looking at, although I'd highly prefer if it was jumping to the last page upon opening only if there was a new page discovered.
While the game kind of encourages going "outside the box" and asking custom questions to get to know the lore, not only ones prompted by the journal, and the game has scripted answers to a mind-boggling amount of custom questions, these can break the gameplay easily, and I messed the "timeline" twice: for example, after asking about the emperor at a very late stage of the game, my timeline was broken and the computer was not understanding the latest journal prompts, and I had to go about 10 pages back, when the emperor was first mentioned, and walk through all dialogue from there again to fix the timeline.
Although the bugginess of this game sometimes made me question if $5 is the fair price for it, the overall experience is positive and it's a solid 8/10, very interesting.
