Quite a lovely and silly game! Would definitly recommend a read!
I liked the use of really soft colors and smaller casual topics an item that is carried around can produce.
My issues with this game are just a lot of smaller hickups.
In the art department:
There was a lot of variety here of drawn art that was good to look at, but there are some cleaning issues here that I would otherwise never mention. The game console in the item selection has weird smaller white parts that just shouldn't be here. There is also a 50% opacity circle in the console. The one bar background is way too clear cut and it jumpscared me a little with no filter at all. Wished that one would have been blurred a bit to fit with the other backgrounds.
In the programming department:
The dissolving of sprites worked most of the time, but I think for literally different poses the no instant change to them felt awkward.
There is a smaller bug with right click. If you right click once during the vn and than press the back button the ui is invisble. Quick fix is to right click again, but an user would think he has broken the game accidentaly.
In the writing department:
Gotta admit it felt a bit weird with the instant connection they had, but it had grown overtime. There were smaller grammar mistakes for example "My da", unless that one is some sort of dialect. Some line delivery felt weird to me from the bear. It was a bit too literal at some points, but maybe that was the point.
All in all, a good short fvn!
