The story is very engaging, with clever twists on fairy tale narratives, and the primary "idling" character rig designs are excellent. The plot and writing are quite enjoyable, though some choices felt stilted or disconnected, despite how well many of the plot threads intersect.

The sex scenes are fluidly animated, but there is severe inconsistency in character design, proportions, and anatomy, which led me to skipping most scenes. (Hold CTRL on Windows to turbo through them.) Frequent prompts for cutscenes in the middle of serious conversations hobbled the story's flow. Despite high-quality animation and rendering, the inconsistencies and anatomical issues in these scenes were too much to ignore. I honestly think I'd be giving five stars right now if there hadn't been any explicit cutscenes at all.

There's a clear improvement in scope and art direction compared to the first Harem Inspector, but the use of "AI"/SAG spoof images for quick development of the animations in particular significantly dampened the experience.  I do not plan to try the third installment, as it looks likely to have the same problems.
