One of my favorite roguelikes in a bit, the setting is really intriguing and the gameplay loop works super well! I'm also a very big fan of the permanent unlocks not just being strict upgrades, but simply more options for your next runs. There's a lot of strategy to learn, but still enough rng to keep you on your toes over the decisions you make. Getting 3 unexpected events in the same run trying to go into one of the shops when they finally appear can be a little annoying, but so far it's mostly been happening in the runs I'm for sure losing anyways. Really recommend the game if you vibe with the themes!
