Incredible achievement with the bare minimum elements of a fighting game. Gorgeous animation and the room to learn actual technique is so cool. Learning the timing for a parry into counter is really fun and it's such a perfectly "cool boxing media" type thing. I do wish there was some kind of visual indication for when hitstun ends. Jabs strings seem really strong and since the game is so simple some kind of signal that says "ok here's where you can get out of a combo if you're nice" would make both offense and defense more interesting because the defender would get a more explicit opportunity to act and the attack would be able to make a more informed decision about whether or not to press their advantage.
