This score is solely relating to the single player build, and I am looking forward to seeing how the multiplayer build progresses.
Neat aesthetic that surprisingly doesn't focus on something mature despite the ability to make your character thicker than a stack of pancakes. Also there was a witch that shot slime monsters out of her tits, so there was that. There could be more included in with that mature theme in mind if that was the intent, otherwise it's just a really solid action RPG?!? I would love to see even more character customization to really help accentuate one player's character from potentially hundreds of other's.
The game was very fun to play through, eventually committing to the mystic class on my play-through. Some specifics about statuses and effects would be appreciated, that isn't solely communicated through skill tool tips of abilities the player can use. The damage balancing might be a bit off, because I was using a character that specialized in magic damage but I found myself favoring the bow and arrow over the staff due to higher damage per hit and DPS, when I had twice the levels in magic in comparison to strength, something might be up that is either a bit off on damage calculations or I am really not considering a factor or stat math.
Item drops were curious near the end of the single player build content, where you could frequently find starting item gear in pots (and potentially from enemy drops, can't confirm) when traveling through a high level instance of the main dungeon available to interact with. But I kept seeing unique higher level gear when grinding at the end game, and different items types I had never seem up until that point.
Leveling up is strange some times where I would expect to receive skill points to invest in skills, but occasionally would receive none, but once or twice I received double the amount (of 6 rather than 3) but still felt like there was a one level deficit's worth of skill points that never got made use of. Curious choice but I wonder if there was a reason to that working that way. Stat upgrade points where always rewarded after a level up.
besides some small gripes on some mechanics and interactions that feel a bit off the game is very functional. I can't say I experienced any game breaking bugs, glitches, exploits or clipping. There was one point in the beginning when initially entering the dungeon that I was given one of the variants of the level layout that was a little confusing to understand what the game was asking of me initially, thinking I was potentially soft-locked until I realized that I could walk on some wall geometry that seemed to be the only way to reach an upper walkway to flip a lever to open a gate on the ground. Didn't read too well for something mandatory.
I am very intrigued and am almost compelled to have another playthrough with another race and class to experience more of what became inaccessible after committing to a class.
