The fact that the poor MC was carrying a torch for three years over that bozo and he was just there for some documents absolutely broke my heart. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if he was using it as a good excuse to see them again (surely someone else could've done it), but still. Always hurts to see characters saying what they don't mean out of fear of being rejected/hurt and it was clear they were both doing it in slightly different ways. It was nice to see it end on a more optimistic note, though.

Always love playing short games like this that give such an immersive peak into a story. I absolutely enjoyed it.
