Incredible. I tried Unity once and was overwhelmed by the interface (also the lagginess of it?).. Anyway, I fell way back to using vanilla js and pygame/sdl, because I was completely intimidated.

As a developer godot offers stuff I understand and enjoy playing around with, whilst also being massively powerful and expressive compared to the stuff I used before.

Thank you all, godot community, for making gamedev fun for hobbyists again!
