PrimeAmbition rated Shin Megami Tensei: Training the Demon G

A downloadable game for Windows, Linux, and Android.

It's a fun concept and I've not seen a game executed this exact way in ren'py before. It's very unique and I really wanna see where it goes. The world-building is decent, though the progression feels kind of slow at the beginning. I can see a state where the gameplay loop is fun, but at the moment it becomes a chore doing the same thing over and over again until you unlock a new way to do that new thing which you will then do over and over again.
Though, a ton of games in the 18+ indie field are like that, so I can't really fault this one when it's surrounded by peers that do the same thing, some of them even being far worse with the repetitivness. I like that there is the attempt to mix it up here, at least.
The characters I met were nice, the art for them is very well-made & they all standout from eachother visually and personality-wise. I never felt like I was interacting with the same one and enjoyed the writing for the conversations. I found Sidhe being my favorite demon overall due to the writing done for her.
I did have a big problem with one thing in particular, however. It's listed as LGBT+, but the only gay scene in it that's attainable to my knowledge is getting screwed to death by male demons. Kinda puts a bad taste in my mouth. Now, I LOVE me some mxm demon action, but it's kind of wrong for the only gay representation in the game to be a non-consensual failure state. On top of being forced to interact with the female characters in sexual ways or lose the game due to low "Waizatsuhi", just doesn't seem very LGBT+ friendly. I hope that's something that could be changed over time, male demon companions could certainly help with that.

Regardless, thank you for sharing your project with us, I wish you much success with it and hope you get it to a state you feel proud of. As I mentioned before, I look forward to seeing where it goes.
