I've played this game for the first time in 2018 and now it's finally out and the wait was totally worth it. Play this game! The story centers around Rourke diserting from his military organization "The Core" after his first mission, the guilty of what he has done weighing heavily on him for the rest of the adventure after he joins with his new comrades to fight back The Core and free the world from their iron clad graps. The atmosphere in this distopic modern setting during a war feels real and brutal, the characters are all adorable and you geniuinely believe the bonds that bring them together, and there's a lot of touching moments while you help people to stay in high spirits during this difficult times. Must asbolutely compliment the art and sound department, absolutely fantastic, with really impressive pixel art and character portraits. The gameplay is really simple but interesting, it's a classic turn based game with a little twist of you being able to target single body parts and deal different and status ailments depending on the part you target and every character brings in his own set of abilities with also a Morale mechanic that will impat on how much better or worse your performance in combat will go. The main focus of this game is mainly the narrative so don't expect a very diffucult game, especially if you take full advantage of buffs and debuffs, at the time of this writing, they can break battles very easily, but even without those you'll never find yourself in big trouble, exploration will give you lots of items to keep your characters healed so you can potentially go through the game without having to rely on a main healer in your party. Honestly I cannot stress this enough on how good this game is for me, and I'm really happy for the developers that this finally saw the light of day
