I just finished a playing the itch.io version of this game and let me say it's charming and very nostalgic. Throught the game I did run into small bugs like unlimited crosses and question marks not appearing. But the music, character dialog, and art style is what makes this game tick!

I give it a 7/10 and hope to see more from them.
