Very impressive game for its art and music. Combat is pretty solid, albeit a bit weird feeling at times. If I had a magic wand of wishes I would make each combat longer/more indepth with more stages for each fight and more obvious tells of what their weaknesses were. I think the cultist boss fight was one of the best as it is currently and in my ideal world would have been the base line.
This is also because I wish there was less combat in general. My biggest complaint with the game is that its too grindy. Even without wiping out clearing each stage is just too lengthy. Fighting each enemy 2-3 times max would have felt good, as it stands it just got tedious and by the end I realized running away (avoiding gameplay) was better.
For what it is the game is amazing, "fixing" the game with my previous complaints/suggestions would have required far *far* more time and energy.
