I'm pretty picky about Ace Attorney fan game stuff, as I feel like it's very easy to capture the aesthetic without actually capturing the feel of the game.

For something that is potentially going to be a series of cases, the narrative is very generic seeming. It doesn't feel like the kind of story that could fit into a larger narrative (a la Trials and Tribulations). Also, I feel like since The Great Ace Attorney, my scrutiny for first cases has increased a lot, as I feel like both 1st cases from that spin-off series are great examples of what a case 1 can be. This just falls flat in comparison

Props, though, for the custom art assets / taking static game sprites and adding the talking animations to them.
