Seems exactly like the kind of game I'd love and play way too long, but unfortunately the extreme randomness makes it unplayable to me. Tried a lot of games but it only got less fun the more I played. Way way way too reliant on pure luck, on top of things like planets that disappear after scanning (thought you picked a good spot to start?! too bad!). Looks like from Steam reviews that it doesn't get any better.  Sorry.
