Would give 4.5 stars if I could. Dead Plate knows what it is, paces itself well, and provides a complete, satisfying few hours. (I believe I took ~4 hours to get everything, as I kept screwing up when following the handy dandy ending guide.)

The environment and conversations between Rody and Vincent give the player just enough information to piece details together while being vague enough in the conclusions of those details that you don't feel overwhelmed. You can take them both at the surface or you can dig into every nook and cranny of their apartments and get bigger ideas about what each of them have going on in their lives that leads them to this point. I liked that element a LOT. It gives the game so much personality and atmosphere.
