A very good horror short story, which uses its limited assets with clear vision to establish its mood. The prose is generally excellent and refined, although I wish the author reined in their flowery verbosity in the scenes where it doesn't add anything and only serves to make simple actions harder to follow. My favorite part is how the way information is slowly revealed ties with the protagonist's arc and the story's main conflict.
