this game is weird because by default in typical bullethell/shmups you are given a static amount of space to dodge. This game's defining idea limits this space and it's controlled by the player's bullets. I'm not sure how the piercing skill impacts this but sometimes you have to chose between dealing damage and carving out space to "macrododge". So far most of the time when I die is due to being surrounded by enemies. Although, "wallpunch" and the "bellow" skill does make it easier
Other things i've noticed/liked:
for me when the window size increases they jitter (not really too annoying but notable i think)
it's nice that the Shift slow mode is there but it feels useless so far as it feels a little to slow. i def need to mess around with it more
The music is cool, really fits the vibe
the use of colors is good
the 4 bosses i've seen have really awesome ideas
my favorite idea is the yellow hand boss but my actual fav boss is the spiky one with full screen lasers. simple but fun to fight
the window zoom/close in at the start looks good. it even has the a bit of overshoot and bounce; good animation
