A really nice little demo! I haven't played A Hat In Time so I can't judge, but I truly like the art style and the soundtrack is amazing!

My only issue is that I find the main character to be a bit slow when walking, and then very quickly accelerates once you start dashing. This led me to some frustrating in-between, where I either had to walk a little too slowly, or start jumping around and falling into a pit because you easily get reckless with the dashes!

Overall, a very nice demo, with a great retro-feel. Congrats!
