This is actually FUN !!!

It would be worth making it a bit longer with temporary props like discarded umbrellas or  passing cloud's shadows. I dunno, maybe some cows that randomly blocks your way so you have to take a different "route" each day.  A small rabbit snack can be caught for some energy back...      But I'm just getting ahead of myself ^^
Despite the Count's disapproval,  I really enjoyed the sizzling sound =^.^=

...  I also imagine how fun it would be if he could knock on the neighbour's door, asking to be let in only for them to refuse haha.

All of this said, thank you for this little bit, it really upgraded my day!
