The premise for My Ange was so well done!
I loved this demo a lot.
The fact that the main character moved far away from their previous home and ended up in a rather unsavory area (and an unsavory apartment building) really made it feel like they were isolated with nowhere to run.
Not to mention how everyone believes the previous tenant just ran away. It makes the place seem all that much more awful (even though the player knows that the previous tenant met with a terrible fate... not that such a thing really makes it any better.)
And going through the previous tenant's stuff really ups the paranoia a lot. Because it makes it clear that something is very wrong, but the main character wouldn't really be able to know what it might be.
I also really adored Noah. He was quite creepy, and also quite adorable. His design was just so good, and I love his eyes!
Plus, his personality is... "friendly", but in a very awkward and kind of intimidating way. Having him be the only neighbor we meet adds to that feeling of isolation and paranoia quite a bit.
Everything really made the atmosphere for My Ange quite unsettling.
I'm already hooked on the little bit of story that we got, and I'm very excited for the full release!
