It's hard to find a platformer that stands out in these days, but Titityler captures some core mystery reminiscent of playing an old NES game as a kid. The enemies, mechanics, and even collectibles are unexplained, unexpected, and unabashedly strange. Some screens have some brutally difficult jumps with very punishing falls, again leaning into that nostalgic challenge element. Is it fair? No. Is there a shortcut? No. Just sit down and get good. In this way, it can be very frustrating and very rewarding simultaneously.
