A fantastic remake of The Eight Pages, gameplay feels good once you learn how to manage your stamina and avoid Slenderman. Speaking of, his model is fantastic. The game overall looks waaaaay better than the original.

I especiay enjoyed the ARG aspect to find the hidden ending. The little references to Marble Hornets and Arrival are fantastic as well. Your reward for getting the secret ending is 20$ mode, which is just perfect.

My only criticisms are the optimization is not great, I had to lower a lot of the settings to get it to run well, and a second is that I feel like the ambience has taken a bit of hit in this game compared to the original. In the original, the ambience gradually grew more sinister and intense as you collected pages with a layer being added every 2 pages, meanwhile in this version there's only 2 really, one for pages 1-6 and another for page 7. There is an additional track for when you collect all 8 but it's completely different. That's purely my own personal preference though, definitely worth checking out!
