this was hard for real! i don't have great depth perception, and this child sandlot game has a surprisingly sophisticated "if it clips the accurate strike zone anywhere" strike policy. both the batter and the pitcher can challenge calls if they think you're out of your fucking mind-- and they can be wrong about that, which is refreshing.

also appreciate getting a bigger boost when you get a difficult call right, and (i think) a smaller penalty when you fuck it up. and pitchers might throw more than one pitch?? like is one a fastball and another one has some break?? maybe when i say no that was a strike and the game shows me it was right down the dick on replay i'm just not paying attention on those ones [thinking emoji].
