Brimming with character and enthusiasm; this game builds apon the author's prior GMless game (the adorable community builder Come Rain Come Shine) with new systems and prompts to create a fresh new take on fantasy-adventure roleplaying. The four points system, with it's focus on narrative reasources management and planning, intersects neatly with the random tables for misfortune and opponent behaviours to create a compelling, strategic style of play. Meanwhile, the framing device of the adventurer's guild allows for a fantastic sense of shared progression and worldbuilding. Even merely reading this book, with it's fantastic and whimsical art and clear style of writing, left me electricied.
