A dystopia where you are a commodity, you can be replaced at any moment. Still, even knowing this, you have to live your life, talk with friends, do your job. This sort of peace is fascinating in the world of gaming, and I’ve never found anything quite like it before; Especially meshing the visual novel aspects with a driving sim. But it brings context to the monotony. The story itself is rich with emotion and depth, a struggle against the society you find yourself in, and a grapple with your own mortality. The only downsides is that the truck’s controls can be a bit floaty and sometimes send you tumbling out of control for several minutes, and one of the terminal puzzles changes to brute forcing after a time, which I did not find too engaging. These are shallow problems for an amazing story that left me almost speechless.
