I had a lot of fun playing Firelights. It's simple, fun and manages to evoke all its inspirations within the confines of a 1-page RPG. However, its strengths can also leave you craving for more details. Especially in sections about encountering enemies and actions like confronting risks.
This means you'll sometimes feel a little lost about what to do next in the game ("How do I encounter a Curse in the first place?" "When do risks occur in the game? Are they the same as Curses?" "What is the difference between asking the Oracle for answers and buying information?"). Because the game wants you to fill in the blanks yourself and tell your own story ("When it feels right!").
