Summary
This a beautiful, well written and multifaceted experience for the GBC!
It’s an exceptionally impressive effort given the tight time constraints of the game jam format.

Stand-out Features
The art is really fantastic, huge images of the player and townsfolk, gorgeous palette selections and subtle details (wisps drifting across the river) really push this work to another level.
There is a large amount of writing which is quite funny and genuine.
It really sells the experience, making the townsfolk charming and the bachelorettes sweet (💚 Olive).

Suggestions
The combat is a little unforgiving, I think using iframes when the player takes damage could help smooth the experience.
Navigating around NPCs can be frustrating, it seems like the trigger to interact is an ‘on enter’ trigger vs. an ‘on button press’ trigger.
