GabrielitoX rated Neural Rot

A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Miziziziz's best game gameplay wise, right below Wrought Flesh and Balance the stick. Really good art from Angela He. Fitting story, just the right amount. Maybe too fun after playing it repeatedly. I saw some people having trouble with the difficulty, but I think it's perfect for the kind of game it's trying to be (Don't tell anyone, but for me, it was kind of easy or at least easier than endoparasitic). The movement is an evolution to the one in II-III-V, tying it to a new sight for shooting. The reloading mechanic was the one thing that made this one really special (In terms of gameplay. Did I say the art was great? The story too). I never thought that I needed this kind of minigame in a survival horror game, but now I do. It emulates perfectly how reloading as an action is something that you can get good at with repetition, and it is different depending on the weapon, just with arrows. It just has a tiny probability of crashing now. It is, still, overall a nice time. Recommended. Did I forget to say the art was neat?
