I come away from this game wanting to learn more. I've briefly experience death-positive media but this was so accessible and educational that I loved it. It didn't overstay it's welcome and ended where I think it should have. The mechanics were undoubtedly simple but conveyed the meaning and practice of a mortician well. I appreciated both the regard for the dead, the grieving, and the difficulties of the industry for family and small businesses. The regular cadence of the days really emphasized the impact of the moments. The man who committed suicide and who's wishes couldn't be met, the unidentified man, and the discussion of transgender issues when it came to burials all spoke to me. Oh and the music and art were beautiful. I've come to realize I'm a sucker for a limited color palette and this certainly delivered that. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I'm glad I worked up the whim to finally play this.
