We played this game to set up a universe in which to play other games. It was an excellent foundational choice.

World building can get very granular or very broad in scope - this game hits a good mix of both! You can create looming historical figures, 'just some guy', complicated faction relationships, holidays, holes-in-a-wall and sweeping architectural landmarks so easily. What you create feels alive, and the collaborative zooming around the scope is very satisfying. The best part of this game is that it doesn't have to end, it feels like you can keep building.

Highly recommend to create settings with your players- whatever you make can translate to smaller scope or bigger scope games very easily. Looking forward to playing again!
