simple, and incredibly effective. frighteningly so. i know about grey consent and i know about rape. i know about how it must feel. but at a point, playing this, i paused and took a moment to think. and then i continued, though it felt horrible.

i think games that get you to pause - to think - and resume, are some of the most powerful. games are supposed to be engaging, they are supposed to grab your attention and hold it there. but to be able to make us take a moment and come back to it, to rest and recover and understand, is something important. especially when it comes to stories like these.
