I don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't this. There was something about the script that made it hard to read. Maybe because of how Nanami talked and then would shift to philosophical thinking. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good, and I felt like I couldn't get what the point of the story was, or what I was supposed to get out of it. Girl chases after her childhood idol and then finally meets her but ends up disillusioned, the end. Yeah, um... I don't know. I guess it's original, but I found Nanami's realizations somehow childish. Aren't those the kind of things you learn as you grow up? Then again, I've always been regarded as way too mature for my age ever since I was a child. Still... Well, maybe it's just Nanami's character. Anyway, I'm pretty set on this being a hard read, though. I understand why the author used American English here because she stated it in her afterword, but maybe she should've just stuck to British English. There were a few words, I think, that were still obviously from British English. But besides that, Nanami's lines just seemed so unnatural.
