A highly engrossing city-builder and RTS where the core gameplay has been simplified to the essentials so that there's nothing to get in the way of what makes games like this really fun for players like me. I love the challenge of keeping my villagers fed and I love the ebb and flow of the day-night cycle. Strategizing as you construct your village to optimally harvest various resources is very rewarding, but it would be cool to see a sequel to this, one day, perhaps with more enemy types and weapons that may be more-or-less suited to those various types. I say that because it seems almost like wasted potential that there's just a single upgrade from hand-to-hand to bow-and-arrow which immediately affects all current and future villagers. There's pretty much no reason to ever fight or hunt without the bow-and-arrow. Maybe it would've been nice to have to outfit villagers with bow-and-arrow individually or something? Anyway, I love this game and I've put way too many hours into it!
