RhythmlessWalker rated Hole Digging Game

A browser game made in HTML5.

This was absolutely great! It's a little hard to parse for my eyes, so I couldn't make as much sense of some the interesting mechanics/quirks as some of the others in the comments, but to me at least those quirks are besides the point; they're just points of interest along the way. Kind of reminds me of desert golfing in that sense, where after some 300+ holes, you might encounter a lovely cloud or a tiny cactus and they don't really do anything major to the game but it's neat when you discover them.

This is just a lovely little thing to putter around in and explore, and the self-directed play of "I want to go there, what can I do to get there" is engaging! And I do like the aesthetic of it a lot, it just adds a bit too much obtuseness to the game for me since there were points where I couldn't even tell if I could go down or not. It's very pleasing to look at though and I may come back to it to try and understand some of the mysteries contained within later.

Thanks for making this!
