Picture Perfect started out really strong but by the end felt lacking in a few ways. The story itself was solid as was the art and music. The branches in the story were what I had a bit of an issue with. First was at the end where you are presented with all of the possible endings and can go through them as you want. It takes away the impact of having branches earlier if I can simply view all of the possible endings later without chnaging my choices. Secondly was that even a few times throughout the game I was told I couldn’t view a scene because I didn’t have enough points with that girl but nowhere along the way are you told when you gain or lose points with a girl to see where you can change things. Furthermore I can’t really think of many actions that I took where I should have lost points with any specific girl. The lewd scenes themselves were decent but lacked animation which many visual novels have these days. The dialogue and characters were well done and I enjoyed the story overall.
I played Picture Perfect on Linux. It never crashed and I didn’t notice any spelling errors. You could save at any point and there were fifty four save slots. Alt-Tab didn’t work.

I finished the main story of Picture Perfect in about four hours and from there each ending adds about twenty minutes of play time. I paid $20.61 CAD for the game. I would say the price isn’t terrible but there are many visual novels out there for the same or less price that were a bit better.
