The characters in purrgatory are such lovable goofballs that I wanted to complete all their stories. The game relishes in its silliness very well and the ending is satisfying. Artstyle is cute in its simplicity. My biggest complaint is the map navigation is super messy. By the end I got the hang of it but there were many moments in the story where I got stumped cause it was so hard to navigate. Would've loved something more intuitive, at least a foldout map overlay within the game itself. In addition, if you choose to complete all the stories, upon completion you will be met with an unnecessarily grim piece of dialogue that I found very jarring especially the first time it happened. It threw off the vibe each time. Each piece has real purpose in the story but I wish it were toned down a tad.

Very fun game, cute aesthetic, a bit clunky, rarely loses its tone. 4/5
