HexagonNico rated Room 64

A downloadable game for Windows.

The game felt good overall, the levels were well structured, good job at teaching the game mechanics to the player in the first few levels, interesting story, but there are a few defects that need to be addressed:

- The player's controls felt quite annoying, the player is VERY slippery, which makes it frustrating to do precise jumps. The jump height is also inconsistent, when you are close to an edge you can't jump high enough. The running acceleration also makes the character extremely hard to control. If you want the game to be hard, you can put more obstacles, harder challenges, or more game mechanics, don't make the controls harder.

- It would be a good Idea to tell the controls to the player within the game, maybe by writing  them on a wall. It took me some time to realize I needed to run to jump further.

- Just as I was beginning to get intrigued in the story, I got to what I think is an ending without realizing it (I walked into a red cross) and now I can't get past the title screen anymore and I can't play. Not sure if that is intended.
