You Are The Killer In KILLSLASH, A Solo-Player Slasher Movie RPG

I'm the designer of KILLSLASH, a new single-player journaling RPG where you assume the role of a legendary killer in a slasher movie. As you hunt and attack your victims, you'll document your murders and learn more about yourself and your victims.

Check it out here: https://longgames.itch.io/killslash

During the game, you will choose four victims, answer questions about them, roll dice to attack them, and then roll dice to see how they react. You’ll then describe what happens in as much gory detail as you’d like.

If you enjoy reading or writing horror stories, or if you like to describe characters deaths in RPG's in over-the-top, gruesome ways, then we made this game for you!

It's similar to other journaling RPGs such as Thousand Year Old Vampire and Artefact.

If this is the kind of game you're interested in, check it out on our website: https://longgames.co.uk/killslash

Or on itch.io: https://longgames.itch.io/killslash

Thanks!

  • It has become obvious that you just copy-pasted your description from another place with the minimal amount of effort to change a single link and did not even proofread the results. To be quite honest with you: At this point, from the perspective of someone looking around for new single-player journaling RPGs, I already lost hopes that Killslash would be any good. Or that you don’t give a #### about your representation on itch.io and just threw it on here for some quick bucks. Updates might be late or won’t arrive here at all…
  • Maybe the description could be more condensed.
  • There’s two broken links. Maybe try to link them on itch
  • I remember Thousand Year Old Vampire. Other than it being a journaling RPG, I see no similarities between the games. It’s like comparing Vampire: Dark Ages with AD&D, because both have an abundance on swords and a lack of computers. In my eyes, one of the most intriguing things about Thousand Year Old Vampire was the layout. Your layout isn’t bad at all but it isn’t on that level.
  • A screenshot might improve your presentation.
  • Also, since you’re offering: Even if the game isn’t available on Drive Thru RPG right now, having a link to a publisher/writer/user page or something that will (at some point in the future) have an entry/link might be beneficial.

Be better!
