Why the lack of PSP games? I only found just 1 game jam which did about 6 games. And that's all. Why not more? We need more games like platformer,Metroidvania Etc.
What do you mean by a PSP game? Do you mean games that are meant to be played on a real PSP? If so, it’s because PSP development is pretty closed and it’s programmer community is niche. Although it seems fun to program, looking at pspsdk.
I see. But Itch.io is a multiplatform site so we should have PSP games nevertheless. And there is still people working on the psp like the sm64 port for PSP.
Fair enough. But your issue (as I understand it) isn’t with itch.io or its community but rather with the lack of developers making their games available through itch.io. So the ones you would need to talk to in order to improve the situation would be said developers. Itch’s doors are wide open… ;)
