Macbook Air struggling

Hi folks,
I'm new to Itchio, and running games on a fairly decent 2019 MacBook Air.  But after only five minutes, it's getting really hot and the fan's spinning like crazy - is that normal for this spec?

Which games specifically? I don't have a MacBook so I can't tell you for certain what's normal for it, but if it only has is integrated graphics I'd expect it to struggle in more demanding games.

I purchased a new MacBook Air just recently and it's gotten hot and fan crazy just from running an antivirus scanner and installing Unreal engine. I suggest reporting this issue with games to the individual game pages so the developers will know and they can give you some guidance about the game's required specs and will know if they should  put more work into optimization. Also, you can bring up the Activity Monitor (I think it's in your Utilities folder) to see how a game is affecting your memory, CPU, disk access, etc.

Ah, that explains it. No doubt Oxenfree needs a lot of power.
