How can I download an older version of games?

You can't, unless the game's creator leaves them uploaded.

AFAIK you can on two conditions:

1. You’re using the Itch client
2. The developer uses butler to upload the game versions

Not a fan of the first condition, personally; I would like to download versions from the web version as well.
