My downloads are getting deleted

Why is it that if I download games here it gets deleted the second I open the file?

What do you mean? That sounds strange. It's not something the app should be doing, I don't think. Can you give some details?

Hi, the same thing is happening to me: when I download something from the site (including the app, that's why I can't use it), the file stays for a second on my computer and then disappears. It doesn't seem to happen with pdf.

It was really the windows defender all along. I'm sorry I haven't replied to this, I have been busy.

Thank you for noticing this. I just find it strange when I download any games from this website whenever I open the downloaded file or even the file location, the file will get deleted immediately. I have already tried downloading zip files from other websites and it works perfectly fine. It just happens in itch.io
