Hi,
I just uploaded a zip file for html game developed with construct to be able to play it on itch.io but after upload it says

"Too many files in zip (1140 > 500)
Please try deleting the ZIP file and uploading another one."

What should i do to be able to make it playable? Please help!

Like the error message says, try to reduce the number of files. As explained in the FAQ, large web games cause trouble for a lot of players, which reflects poorly on you, and Itch as well.

How to do it depends on how your game is made. One common technique is to use spritesheets instead of individual images.

Hi,
Thanks for replying and sharing the info!
I tried what you said but Sadly it is not possible to reduce the number of files through spritesheeting (have used import files in construct 3)!
This project is really important for me to work, is there any other way to upload this game with 1200 files in it?
i can keep this game as private if you like so it won't reflect bad on itch!

Is there a chance that this limit can be increased for this project or any other possible solution please?

Yes, as explained on the same page in the FAQ, you can contact support and ask for the limit to be lifted. No need to keep the game private.
