I'd like to have the image shown when linking my game from other sites changed.

Simply put, it's using an older version of my game's logo for some reason no matter how many times I update the preview image. Would a moderator be able to change this for me?

You should give it some time and check again, or try refreshing your browser window a few times. If all else fails, try checking to see if this is still a problem, but do it from another computer, as the one you are currently using may be fetching the older image due to latency issues. Just an expert tip from a web dev pro. 😉

Thanks for your response. If you don't mind my asking Mr. Web Dev Pro:
-Roughly how much time is 'some time', would you say? If the issue would be solved by waiting that is.

I definitely tried refreshing and even doing a command refresh or whatever it's called (CTRL+F5). But that's good to know. So what you're saying is my PC could be showing the wrong image, but if I went and looked from my phone or another device it'd be the most surefire way to see the most up to date one (proper image.)

I should mention I've seen previous threads on here where people asked about this and a moderator said they'd fix the issue for them. This is why I posted the question in the first place, actually.

Relax, it can take up to a day or so for the proper image to propagate through the network. If you're really in a rush, you can always reboot your own machine to ensure it isn't on your end first, and then if it isn't, then you may need to find a good book.

Also, what is a single picture going to do to ruin your game, may I ask? Unless it was copyright infringing... But in that case, why would you even use it in the first place!?

Sometimes the best remedy to a situation like this one is to acquire the virtue of patience.

There's no real harm I suppose, it's mostly because I want things to be consistent. That's all. Waiting isn't an issue for me or anything. If a moderator sees this I'd definitely take up the offer to have it fixed sooner though.
Thanks for your response!
